About Megan J. Lavender
Megan is a C-Suite executive with experience across the private, Government and not for profit sectors, with a particular focus on health, agriculture and education.
Megan has held a broad range of roles encompassing corporate affairs, financial management, operational management, company secretarial, governance secretariat, community relations, programs and assessment, project management and business development.
Currently she is the Emeritus President of the Royal Automobile Club of Australia having been the first woman to be appointed by her peers in 120 years and described as the “Number 1 Petrolhead”, the Chair of Road Sense Australia being its first female and longest serving to date Board Chair, the Foundational Deputy Chair of Gosford Crown Lands and has more recently been appointed as the Australian History Fund Coordinator of the Women’s Pioneer Society of Australasia, as well as elected as the Chair of the Committee of Responsible Persons to oversee the country’s largest literary awards foundation for young people.
In her spare time Megan enjoys discovering new places for coffee, hearing about all things motorsport, finding the perfect satay and encouraging her fig and mango trees to achieve greater heights.
