How to become a Friend of the Foundation

You can support our ongoing work in any of the following three ways.

Donate

The AMHF is a registered charity, with Deductible Gift Recipient status for the Library. This means gifts to our Library over $2 are tax deductible. 

The funds you donate are used solely by the Foundation to enhance and preserve our Library (for example, to preserve the materials in our collection, to develop educational materials and facilitate research, to host seminars and encourage discussion, and to maintain our facilities at Sydney Motorsport Park).

Donors receive an appreciation communication from the Board, early bird invitation to AMHF events, our newsletter, name badge and an invitation to donor appreciation events.

Volunteer

As a volunteer you can benefit from access to the collection and the opportunity to discuss all things motoring with like-minded enthusiasts. Our volunteers are involved in the creation of content for our media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Website, Instagram), research for clients, special projects which promote Australia’s automotive heritage, curating rare automotive artefacts, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, events management and administration.

Support

As a financial supporter you contribution will help with those expenses which are not covered by donations. Supporters receive an appreciation communication from the Board, welcoming them as a supporter, early bird invitation to AMHF events, our newsletter, a worthwhile discount on selected items, name badge and free research (limits apply).
