Introducing Retro Stories author
After an international business career David established Retroautos® magazine to celebrate automotive history, especially the design of cars. Debuting in print in 2010, Retroautos® is now online on the Shannons Club website.
David has published four Design to Driveway books which showcase some of Australia’s iconic cars and those who designed them. The books sold out. David also co-created and co-produced the Design to Driveway video series, currently on Shannons Club. The series featured interviews with seven influential Australian automotive designers: Leo Pruneau, Philip Zmood, David Hardy, David Ford, Richard Ferlazzo, Dennis Nicolle and Graham Wadsworth
David has written an automotive column for News Corp’s newspapers and Carsguide. Since 1981 he has reported on speedway for many magazines, including Racing Car News.
David currently owns a 1988 Pontiac Firebird.
